Meet with local ocean enthusiasts and activists to help conserve our ocean legacy - and have fun doing it! The world's oceans are being devastated by unsustainable fishing practices. Bycatch, overfishing, and habitat destruction problems have depleted once bountiful fish populations and jeopardized the oceans' capacity for sustaining life. You can help!

The Ocean Group of the Sierra Club is member of the New Jersey Chapter of the nationwide Sierra Club and is a diverse group of individuals who are devoted to protection of environmentally sensitive areas on a local, regional, and global scale, and to supporting political initiatives for sound environmental policy. We hold regular, open to the public, meetings on environmental issues as well as frequent outings to many of our most beautiful outdoor locations.

Local interest group based in the Delaware Valley to connect Scuba Divers, Snorkelers, Spearfishers and anyone with interest in the underwater world and Marine Conservation. This group is centered in Philadelphia, South Jersey, Bucks, Chester, Delaware or Montgomery Counties.
